Nothaft Cafe in Berlin

Not good

The staff does not speak German. Ordering a lactose-free coffee fails because the lady has no knowledge of German. I have to go again without coffee. Guys, that's not possible. If you can't make yourself understood in German at all, you can't let go of the customers, as sorry as I was for the woman who looked very nice.

Very good coffee and conscientious baristas only the extremely long waiting time for the coffee is a bit annoying.

How I would like to join the hype ... but I can't. Was there for lunch yesterday, there were 3 other people in front of me who had ordered two coffees to go and one espresso to go. It took 17 minutes for my cappucino to arrive - I don't know what the barista was doing ... but it felt like it took her 5 minutes for each coffee. And in the end the coffee was so so ... Oat milk was way too hot, the foam had bubbles like my bubble bath and I made the decision: not again.

One of my favorite spots to study or relax! The staff is very responsive and friendly and the vegan pastry is one of the best I've ever eaten. The prices are very reasonable for the quality.

The decor is chic and modern with just a dash of hipster. I was particularly taken with what appeared to be reclaimed materials that has been used to construct the counter tops. Lastly, the the barista was incredibly friendly and cheerful. Once the interior seating reopens I very much look forward to having a coffee and pastry here ☕️🥐.

Really, one of the best banana breads in town - its insanely good! (..And I've tried dozens of places in Berlin and made dozens of loafs myself.) Good address for very enjoyable coffee, too. Bonanza beans are well balanced, with and without milk.

Actually a nice café. Unfortunately, I have never found a place because the café is always full of people working on the laptop. Pity!

Yo da best coffee I found in Berlin. And the bread? So crazy tasty, banana bread especially. The staff really friendly and the location is near with public transportation, U2Eberswalderstr or tram. Really recommended!

Actually a very nice and cozy café with delicious drinks and cakes etc. But the new price policy of € 4.50 for a 0.2l (!) Golden latte / matcha latte is unfortunately outrageous.

It's a shame that you can't give 4.5 stars. My cappuccino on Saturday 8.2.20 was the best I have ever had and I lived in Italy for a while. The one on Sunday unfortunately had a bit more acid and was therefore not quite as good as the first one for us. I would have liked to know the variety so that I can always order Sunday. Terrific! So please help, if you know what kind of mine I mean :)

A very nice little cafe on the Schönhauser. The style of the furnishings is rather rudimentary and the old building spaces are left unrenovated. The cake offer is classic with crazy ingredients; like a lemon cake with spinach. There is also a small, freshly made selection of smoothies. The coffee is delicious and, unlike the furnishings, is of high quality. It is free WiFi, which makes it popular for students and others to work with.

The cake tastes delicious !! 🤩 It's almost all vegan and it's an English-speaking café! ☺ ♥ I can especially recommend the tea, try the Earl Gray with a dash of milk! It just tastes delicious. 😋 The Cake here is so delicious !! 🤩 Nearly everything is vegan and it's a café that's english speaking! ☺ ♥ Especially the tea is something to recommend, you should try the Earl Gray with a shot of milk! Good coffee and delicious selection of all sorts. But it's more of a café where people sit and work with their MacBooks. Prices go. Rather more expensive. The staff is very nice

A little expensive at € 4.5 for a matcha latte, but was worth every penny. Not too bitter and just the right sweetness. Great café to work in, good wifi and sockets.

Súper cosy and relax place, best coffee! They have plenty of vegans options, different juice and smoothies recently made and the food (sandwiches, salats, cakes) are delicious! Pd: I recommend the energy balls!

Three words: MAGIC MACHA LATTE! (To elaborate a bit: This is supposedly a super nice coffee place, but I don't drink coffee. Fortunately they plenty of other non-coffee drinks that are delicious. If you're with a coffee connoisseur, take them here. Casual business meetings in the back room, a nice summer date outside in the sun (ignoring the traffic), it is a nice place.)

Everything was tasty and the staff is friendly. I don’t understand why if the cake is homemade and I’m eating it in I still got it packed in plastic. Not enough plastic in the world? Plus noisy, fitness-like music didn’t help to relax with the morning coffee.

An incredibly nice cafe. The rather untypical decor meets my taste. Also, the food such as the incredibly delicious cake I can only recommend. So if you are traveling in the area ... Definitely have a look over.

Very friendly staff and dog lovers 🐕 Good place for a cup of coffee when you meet friends if you don't mind very simple atmosphere and a bit of dust everywhere. For a traditional breakfast I'd prefer some other cafe.

Best cafe in Berlin. We stumbled upon this cafe near our airbnb. Staff was extremely polite and friendly. I ordered a latte and banana cake. Latte was excellent and the banana cake was very moist. Prices are reasonable too. So glad we stumbled upon this gem.
